How to Help

We need all the help and support possible from the communities of Beverly Hills, Morgan Park, and Washington Heights to save this important historical landmark.  Here's how you can help:

1. Spread the word about this important connection to the past.  Please share this website, including to Social media.
   
   

2. Help us find a reuse partner.  Although zoned residential, there are options beyond restoring this to a single family home.  Know of a community organization that needs home?  Let us know.  Substantial grants are possible for non-profits to cover most restoration costs.
   
   

3. Help us find sources of funding.  Talk to your friends and neighbors in Beverly Hills, Morgan Park, and Washington Heights.  We need an angel donor (or multiple) to help with the acquisition and initial stewardship.   If the property is donated to a non-profit, your donation may be tax-deductible.   Once transferred to a non-profit, grants can likely cover most or all of the restoration.
   
   

4. Go see this important house!  Do not go on the property.  Please report any missing or fallen plywood.
